Repayment of Outstanding Loan

We issued a reminder to the above student on 30 October 2014 requesting he,/she to repay the outstanding instalments in the abovementioned loan account. A copy of the reminder had also been sent to you on the same date. According to our records dated 1 December 2014, he/she has failed to repay the arrears and the total amount of arrears as at 19 December 2014 is now HK$ 25,471.60 (including outstanding administrative fee and overdue interest accruing from the due dates of the outstanding instalments up to 19 December 2014).
According to the Deed(s) of Indemnity made between you and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, you undertook to indemnify the Government against any loss, costs and expenses resulting from or arising out of a corresponding Undertaking(s) signed by the above student. You are therefore requested to take immediate action to settle the aforesaid amount of arrears on or before 19 December 2014. Payment can be made through the Payment-by-Phone services (PPS reference no.: "142448428462", Merchant Code: "44") or the Automated Teller Machines. You are advised to retain a copy of acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Please note that if you do not settle the above outstanding amount on or before the due date, we may take legal action by referring this case to the Department of Justice or filing a claim to the Small Claims Tribunal against you and the student to recover the full amount of the outstanding loan of around HK$341,195.00 together with interest, surcharge/administrative fee (if any) and recovery costs in one lump sum without further notice. You should also be reminded that a credit reference agency may collect official public records relating to any action for the recovery of debt to facilitate credit providers, such as banks to assess the credit-worthiness and repayment ability of their customers.
This notice has also been served to the loan borrower of the related outstanding loan.
